In-home physical therapy in Seattle
I help people in pain understand what’s going on in their bodies, move with more confidence, and build strength that actually fits their real lives.
I help people in pain understand what’s going on in their bodies, move with more confidence, and build strength that actually fits their real lives.
I’m Jarlo Ilano, MPT, a physical therapist since 1998 with a background in psychology, pain neuroscience, and lifelong martial arts.
I offer in-home PT in the Seattle area through Luna, so you can get thoughtful, one-on-one care where you’re most comfortable (covered under most insurance plans). My focus is on sustainable change, nervous-system-aware treatment, and helping you feel more capable in your own body over time.
Pain and injury don’t happen in a vacuum. Your history, nervous system, daily habits, activities, and psychology all contribute to the overall picture. When we work together, my focus is on helping you build a more capable, resilient relationship with your body for the long run.
I partner with Luna to offer in-home physical therapy in the Seattle area. That means you get one-on-one, whole-person care in your own space, with the convenience of scheduling through a platform that works with insurance.
When you book with Luna, you can:
Use your insurance for in-home PT (Luna handles the details)
Choose visit times that fit your real life, not the other way around
Get focused, one-on-one care at home, without commuting or crowded clinics
I bring the same psychology-informed, pain science–based approach to your living room that I’ve used for decades in the clinic.
Depending on what you’re dealing with, we’ll use a mix of education, hands-on treatment, and movement training. Here are some of the areas and methods I focus on most often.
I work with long-standing pain using pain science education, nervous-system-aware movement, and gradual progressions. The goal is less fear, more confidence, and a clearer sense of what your body can actually do.
I treat back, neck, and joint issues with a blend of manual therapy and targeted exercise. We’ll focus on practical movements you need every day, like sitting, lifting, walking, sports, and everything your life asks of you.
Dry needling can help reduce pain and muscle tension by changing how your nervous system is reacting to stimuli. I use it alongside education and movement so the relief you feel turns into real, lasting progress.
I use simple, whole-body exercises that build control, strength, and ease of movement. We’ll tailor everything to your current level and the activities you care most about — no matter where you're starting from.
